Alicia grew up in the Hudson Valley area of New York and moved to Georgia to attend the University of Georgia Lamar Dodd School of Art to study Interior Design, where she graduated with a BFA in 1999. Alicia worked for two different firms at Lake Oconee before stepping out on her own to start Alicia Mooney Interiors in 2002.

She is currently working on both residential and commercial jobs all over the southeast in Atlanta, Lake Oconee, Charleston and Dallas. Alicia Mooney Interiors specializes in modern clean design.
